University policy requires CUNY colleges and their vendors to ensure that NYS-certified MWBEs and SDVOBs have the opportunity to provide the University with goods and services at competitive prices. Building a larger and diverse supplier network and supporting a long-term and sustainable economic pool of local businesses will add value to CUNY and enhance CUNY’s presence in the community.

The success of the CUNY Supplier Diversity program is vital to New York State and New York City’s economy and to CUNY. We have a firm commitment to promote, increase and improve the overall participation and quality of diverse suppliers in our supply chain.
