K-12 LEARNING & INSTRUCTION

Our research and evaluation projects in this area focus on CUNY programs implemented in New York City’s public K-12 schools that are dedicated to furthering academic success, early literacy, and STEM education.

SUCCESSFUL TRANSITION TO COLLEGE

Many of our evaluation projects examine how programs and policies help prepare students for college-level courses. We are also interested in examining disparities in college success across New York’s neighborhoods and high schools.

SUCCESS IN COLLEGE

These evaluation and research projects support programs that aim to help students stay in and graduate from college with a degree.

CONTINUING EDUCATION & WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

A variety of our research and evaluation projects support programs that aim to provide students with the skills, knowledge, and experience they need to secure employment with competitive wages.

EVALUATION METHODS & APPROACH

We seek to share learning from our work in research and evaluation to inform internal stakeholders and the field at large in short articles that are not tied to particular projects.

STEM PATHWAYS

Our projects in this area support programs that help students find their way into STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields and careers.

DEVELOPMENTAL EDUCATION

REPS supports CUNY’s commitment to students who enter CUNY with remedial needs by examining developmental programs’ implementation and student outcomes.

DATA INFRASTRUCTURE & REPORTING

Our data team supports programs and research by building data infrastructures to effectively perform analytics. We use a range of platforms and tools to build and run data driven applications as program interfaces to facilitate programs’ data collection, use, and reporting.
