If you are a NYCHA resident attending a CUNY Community or Senior College, you may be eligible to receive a $1,000 NYCHA – CUNY Resident Scholarship or the Regina A. Figueroa Memorial Scholarship.
The NYCHA-CUNY Resident Scholarship was established in 2005 to reward public housing residents who are pursuing undergraduate degrees full-time at any CUNY college. The Regina A. Figueroa Memorial Scholarship was established in 2010 and honors the memory of a late NYCHA employee who was also a NYCHA resident and CUNY student, by rewarding the academic efforts of CUNY students with disabilities who live in public housing.
We are pleased to announce the open application period for both scholarships. Approximately 10 scholarships will be awarded to eligible NYCHA residents.
