The NYCHA-CUNY Resident Scholarship Program offers four distinct scholarships each worth $1000. All scholarships require that the applicant is currently a NYCHA public housing resident; is currently enrolled as an undergraduate at CUNY; has earned 30 or more credits; and has a minimum 3.0 GPA. 1) NYCHA-CUNY Resident Scholarship

    For NYCHA residents who are undergraduates at CUNY colleges

2) Regina A. Figueroa Memorial Scholarship

     For NYCHA residents with documented disabilities who are undergraduates at CUNY colleges

3) Levine Family Scholarship

    For NYCHA residents who are undergraduates at The City College of New York

4) Kofi Hormeku Scholarship

     For NYCHA residents living in Brownsville, East New York and Ocean Hill, Brooklyn, who are undergraduates at CUNY colleges

These scholarships represent just one of the many ways that CUNY and NYCHA partner to support the academic achievements of public housing residents who attend CUNY. All scholarships are made possible with the generous support of public and private partners.
