Military science courses are offered at The City College of New York and York College. ROTC students attending other CUNY institutions may apply for an e-permit at one of the above schools to take military science courses. Instructions on how to apply for an e-permit.

ARMY ROTC CURRICULUM

Basic Courses (Open to All Students- no obligation to the U.S. Army)

  • Introduction to Leadership 1 (MSCI10100) Typically taken in the first semester of Freshman year
  • Introduction to Leadership 2 (MSCI10200) Typically taken in the second semester of Freshman year
  • Foundations of Leadership 1 (MSCI20100) Typically taken in the first semester of Sophomore year
  • Foundations of Leadership 2 (MSCI20200) Typically taken in the second semester of Sophomore year

Advanced Courses (Only Open to ROTC Cadets)

  • Adaptive Team Leadership 1 (MSCI30100) Typically taken in the first semester of Junior year
  • Adaptive Team Leadership 2 (MSCI30200) Typically taken in the second semester of Junior year
  • Adaptive Leadership 1            (MSCI40100)  Typically taken in the first semester of Senior year
  • Adaptive Leadership 2            (MSCI40200)  Typically taken in the second semester of Senior year

Search for MSCI- Milirary Science Course and choose the appropriate MSCI 10200 or 20200 MSCI course open to all students.  (If you are seeking to take an upper-level MSCI course and have not previously enrolled in the program, please contact Mr. Raymond Frattolillo at ROTC@cuny.edu.)

The deadline to apply for a ROTC ePermit for the Spring 2019 is January 15,2019.
