Students with Disabilities
The Offices of Services for Students with Disabilities exist to provide accommodations to students with disabilities to ensure they have equal access to the University’s programs and services.
All CUNY schools have either an office or designee responsible for coordinating services for students with disabilities. To discuss eligibility and available services, schedule an appointment with the office or designee responsible for coordinating services for students with disabilities on your campus.
CUNY-wide services for students with disabilities include: CUNY Office of Deaf/Hard of Hearing Services; the Learning Disabilities Project; Resources and Education on Autism; and CUNY LEADS which provides job training and educational services for students with disabilities.
Accessibility in CUNY Applications for Students
Assistive Technology is any item, piece of equipment, or system used to increase, maintain, or improve access to information or facilities for individuals with disabilities. CUNY Assistive Technology Services (CATS) provides a list of assistive technology commonly used. Contact your campus office of disability services for assistance.
