What is C-SURP?
C-SURP is a ten-week program that offers a hands-on research experience and is open to students interested in five key research areas: environmental science, nanoscience, neuroscience, photonics, and structural biology.
Who Can Apply?
All CUNY undergraduates completing their sophomore or junior year may apply. CUNY Community College students with at least 30 credits at the time of application are also encouraged to apply. CSURP is also open to students enrolled at universities in the states of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
The program runs from June 5 – August 10, 2017 and includes a $4,000 stipend, free housing and three monthly Metro Cards. Successful applicants will be matched with a faculty mentor at the Advanced Science Research Center or one of the CUNY 4-year schools.
